Wonderful time in Toledo!
Hello, I spent a wonderful time in Toledo! The two weeks organized by Aula Toledo were so rich! First, I wanted to go to Toledo, because it is a very old and culturally interesting town. The old part of Toledo (el casco) is very nice and you can visit a lot of sites (old Roman bath, mosque, synagogue, churches, cathedral, museum of El Greco and so much more… and there are so nice bars and restaurants).
Then, I looked for a language school and found Aula Toledo. Although I organized my time in Toledo very spontaneously, Maite López, the director of Aula Toledo, was very committed and found a host family in a few days. The contact (e-mail) was very reliable I always got help and answers very quickly. The Premium Intensive course (24 hours/week) was very helpful to improve the knowledge of Spanish language. The main focus was communication, but our teachers were always ready to revise grammatical problems etc. if we wanted to do it. Our group was very small: 4 students and one teacher, so we always had the opportunity to talk and our teachers found good and varied occasions to speak about. They were very interested in our persons, our lands…They are humorous people and had a very good sense of what every student wanted to learn and was able to do. We enjoyed the time together!
After school I lived in a Spanish family, so nice! They gave me the opportunity to become integrated into their family and were so open to me. They showed me interesting sites and gave me some good advice what to do. And they spent a lot of time with me. So I had another good occasion to talk and to learn about the Spanish culture. And it was a wonderful human experience.
Thank you so much!
